You don't know what your talking about!

In what world would putting more trains and more carriages solve queues in the station.

Bloody country bumpkin.

Haha, my apologies, I'll happily sit in my car for an hour after full time waiting on the roads reopening after the station has cleared. πŸ™‚

To be fair, the amount of rolling stock is finite and it being a junction requiring pass through for 3 directions makes it a bit more difficult than more trains.

The station lengths only allow for 6-carriages of trains as well (they do sometimes throw on a 3 or 4 carriage just to piss people off though!)

It was highlighted as being a pinch point the second the location was chosen. Other than a dedicated "shuttle" station to get people away (south to Moorefields, north to Bank Hall/Kirldale and back) there's not a lot they can do other than make waiting around there a better experience

They should add a ferry/water taxi style service, just cram people on d-day style.

I foresee no problems and a pleasant post match experience even in the winter.

Like that the containers on the plaza now have openings at the back doubling them.
And that there's a bar and a decent food truck in the middle of the south stand plaza.

Loads of tills off in the south today - the accessible bar and a few in the middle concourse facing the windows.

This is annoying though, opening day, 3pm kick off and the east stand has a block like this:

Surprised none of the lids have gotten their hands on one of those 'dinghys' used in the channel. 100+ people, Β£5 a pop, 5 mins down to the Albert Dock.

I think those have all been seconded by the Royal Navy for defence purposes.

Have they exapanded? I thought Seat Unique were just in upper north east corner?

BTW, Did anyone see any visible improvements in the stadium yesterday? What was concourse like in north / east / west stand?

No change in the upper south, besides a load of tills no longer being used (hopefully a staffing issue)

Yeah they said they'd Everton-ised it more but didn't notice any difference in the East Upper towards the South corner

Not a huge fan of the new menu - my lad liked the Scampi though.
Horses for courses and i wouldn't hold my own preferences for food and drink against the club (why i'll never understand people complaining about what beer is available or that they prefer coke to pepsi or something)
