Agree - would be worse value than the likes of Suiguirdsson.
Setting fire to the 45m would have been better value than giving it to Swansea and having to pay another 25m in wages

Anyone take Antonio as a stop gap for a year?
No? Hahaha
He doesn't have a leg.

So moving on from Dibling and Grealish, who’s next on the list?

I like McGuinn, he is one of the most underrated players in the Premier League.
But he is 30 years old, and we are bidding £18m for him? That’s crazy.
Haven't we just agreed a deal to keep a 34 year old and were made up when he signed? McGinn is Moyes's Peter Reid... we nearly sold him

Age is but a number said an old cunt

We’re probably not getting that price.
But yeah, well worth that given what he’s shown in the Championship. Coming from anywhere else, we’d have probably made the deal already.

Wouldn’t the next Right Winger be 6th on the list, at least we have one that long.

Think this last week or so shows we have serious money to spend and aren’t afraid to do so.

Ah, so Dibling and Grealish look unlikely now then?

I feel this is part of the cycle of an exciting transfer. After the initial hype of being seriously linked, the doubt sets in and it all feels like a bit of a come down. Especially when the Twitter brigade start jumping on it.
I'm not saying they'll definitely join, but it feels like we are in the questioning/unsure stage of these two transfers.

Cheers, Rob.
Feels a bit shit, though.
