Gordon loses his head every single time he plays us or the reds.
One of the biggest dickheads in the entire game.

VAR can only deal with the reds though and to be fair to Taylor I couldn't keep track of who needed a yellow there in real time
Yeah I know, and agree.
My thoughts were more that the VAR isn't set up to properly deal with situations like that (and it should IMO, if it's going to exist at all, as they're the extra set of eyes that Taylor needs),
...But also that in melee situations like that in general, so many other infringements just go amiss that wouldn't in isolated incidents. How many players should potentially be in card trouble, that avoided a caution.

Has Gordon been sent off yet to hand his team the win?

I guess the debate would be "do we want to extend VAR's remit to yellows?"
I think most people would say no but I just don't think VAR is fit for purpose full stop.

It creates a mess doesn't it.
I bet melees would stop if players were told that anyone seen to be involved in one by confronting an opposition player would automatically get a yellow..
I think I just dislike the inconsistency of when rules are and aren't applied more than anything.

"Wirtz approach play was mesmerising!" says the commentator.
What, you mean he ran past someone. Yeah magical!

Need a striker like that if we’re ever going to be relevant.
Also, why the fuck did they buy Isak. This lad’s more dynamic and got a higher ceiling.

Any chance of Newcastle bringing on the strikers they spent £130m on?
