Why is our fanbase obsessed with making out this lad is a horrific footballer?
Probably because he's absolute shite. He is the modern day Brett Angell.

He obviously isn’t.

He's a risk which might pay off but it's not a risk I'd want us to be taking.

He'll probably be a decent signing for Forest over time. Glad we didn't take the plunge.

They need him desperately because they've made a shambolic start to the season, and the nutter in charge will be putting Glasner under serious pressure if it carries on for a while.

Glad we're not the ones taking a 50m chance on him!

We can’t financially complete with teams like Forest.

We can and our income generation is going to be well above theirs in the coming years, but we haven't just sold a player for £116m.

If we paid £45m for Delap, this place would be in meltdown

More career yellows than goals.

What is obvious about it? What are you seeing in him? Just saying what I see and I see an absolute carthorse. Scored a few goals in a very poor Ipswich side where he was the focal point of everything they did going forward. John Fashanu did that for Wimbledon nearly.40 years ago and he was shite too. I just don't see a top class centre forward and I'd be absolutely gutted if it was Everton spaffing £45 million on him.
