I’m hoping it’s more that the recent gigs were arranged before the stadium was officially handed over and that there’ll be some to come in future

Exactly this, let’s be honest, when organisers are planning these tours, they’re going to want to be in a ground and location like ours over the likes of analfield.

The annual July curfew for events at Anfield should mean we get a free run at a load of big names.

At least until they manage to evict those pesky local residents.

There's a huge redevelopment project happening or planned for that area, which everyone guessed would happen. Hopefully improved travel provision, so easier getting in and out

Missed one line in that piece of news: Magic Weekend is moving to the early May bank holiday, as there's already a booking for the stadium in place for early July 2027... interesting

The design of the stadium, with emphasis on the acoustics should also play a part, particularly for music events.

Shit loads of toilets on the lower stands by the way. (I'm in the South West corner today)

Just the upper stands that are horrible or have they done something different for the new season?

Pints a quid more today as well. Suspect that's the new season prices as opposed to a one off for this game unfortunately

Getting served is still a joke though.
