I'll be disappointed if Gana's legs go before either Tim or Merlin have been starting enough games to cope.

Well yes I don't disagree with that tbh, I'm not one of those who claims Moyes doesn't play young players because he hates doing so.
I just would happily give Gana's minutes to Tim and Rohl next season and develop them in to hopefully excellent talents that we either benefit from their development on field and / or sell for high profit down the line.
I think both have a lot of potential and keeping Gana around isn't going to allow them to develop that in to what they could become.
Buy two better players than these an do that, fine with me.

Gana is one of my all time favourite players but time is catching up with him. He was cooked with 15 minutes to go on Sunday and that was before the added 11 minutes. If he’s starting games next season we’re in trouble

I’m going for a full-on hyperbole take and saying Moyes has cost us point this season by inexcusably shelving Rohl for months.

Played brilliantly, he's really quick as well. .I remember reading he was but actually pretty rapid.
Him and Tim, add in Armstrong and that's a fantastic set of young talent we have in midfield.

Moyes will think it lacks experience.
Those three, with Garner and KDH, means we don’t need to strengthen in that area for a while yet. Just let them develop and see what we’ve got.

Bizarre he's not featured much. Maybe protecting an injury or something but he was terrific there

It was like if you could bottle exactly what we've been missing all season then it'd smell like Merlin Rohl.
If McNeill is back in at any point before the end of the season, then I'm starting the Moyes Out thread.

He was great tonight.
I've been pretty pissed off that he hasn't had much of a look in since villa and he should have come on instead of george in the derby.
Well he's laid a marker down now and he has to start at Palace on sunday

Quicker than I realised, skinned them a couple of times. Love his energy.

What is the reason he hasn't been playing? Insane.

Yeah, seems bizarre based on his last performance months ago with the win at Villa followed by that one.
Looked a smidge off the pace right at the start of the first half, but got up to speed and was terrific. Ran all over the pitch and made a few great runs down the wing.
I hope we can keep him fit and playing based on that.
