Here it is (text only at the moment):

Everton boss David Moyes says he still wants to make "quite a few" signings, with the club wanting "to do an awful lot more" transfer business.

The Toffees have made five summer signings and have spent £74m.

Moyes told Sky Sports News: “We're still needing quite a few players to add to the squad. I'd like to do more if possible. We need to see how the remaining few weeks go.”

Asked which areas he wanted to strengthen, Moyes replied: “Well, I'm not going to tell you, but we're well aware of what's required, and we're working hard to try and make it happen.”

He added on their business so far: “I'm pleased that the players were brought in. You have to remember, two of them were already here last year, so we've just made them permanent (Tyrique George and Merlin Rohl).

“I think it'll take Hayden (Hackney) a little bit of time to adapt from the Championship to the Premier League, which quite often it does for players coming from the Championship.

“Christian (Norgaard) is very experienced and will help us replace Idrissa Gana (Gueye). Unfortunately, he's injured at the moment, and Brennan’s (Johnson) just come in on the back of the swap deal for Dwight (McNeil).

“We're putting things together, but we certainly feel behind the scenes that we've got a long way to go and want to do an awful lot more.”

Not trying to be a Moyes apologist but I think you could read into that what you want. At least from the quotes as I've not seen any video, maybe that's more dour.

- We're far off from where we want to be...ambition for the club to be in the CL and that sort of level.
- Wants "a lot more business"...I mean most on here would likely agree? A couple of key positions to fill really at least. Could even bend it as a positive if we can bring in some good players still. Putting pressure on club to get players in even.
- Hayden Hackney needs time...again could even be considered good management, taking some pressure/expectation off. Doesn't mean he isn't going to be playing.

On the Europe thing...it's probably true that it was a "reach goal" at the beginning of the season. Doesn't excuse the drop off but that's him playing with semantics. Probably about the most objectionable thing he said, but still fairly mild.

Oh “sky sports news” is it on the “tv” I suppose?

Sounds like the LAMEstream media with another tall tale if you ask me. Wake up sheeple!

No dramas for me about the comments in the full interview, nothing wrong with it at all.

I think it’s brilliant.

Whole pre season completely silent, local news sending people to Germany and coming back empty handed. Last home game before the season, zip. Fans arguing over it. It means he’s angry! It means he’s happy! It means the club have buttoned him! It means he’s turned away the press!

All for him to come out a week before the season starts and say lads, we’re shit.

Absolutely classic moyesy. Just shocked he didn’t say we’ll go with what we’ve got, even if what we’ve got isn’t enough to stand up to the big clubs like Brentford and Ipswich.

I mean, "I'd like to do more if possible. We need to see how the remaining few weeks go." seems pretty much like the precursor to and inevitable "Well we tried to bring players in, but sadly weren't successful. Its a hard market. But we've got some good players here and we'll do what we can." in a couple of weeks time.

This was always his tactic during his first spell talk down everything knife to a gun fight etc then if you finish mid table it’s seen as good can’t wait to move on from him

It’s also the only way he can get players and fans onboard with his backs to wall playstyle

To be fair, it doesn’t look like we can afford a gun.
