Hackney reeks of a late swoop from Spurs but I hope we’re in that mix too.

We've already said we're not looking at him as we have Jimmy Garner

Justin
Dewsbury hall
Hackney
Dibling

Say around a £70m outlay would be decent business.

Bit uninspiring but that’s probably because they’re all English and have boring names like Hayden Hackney and James Justin.

I’d take that if offered to me right now.

Yeah, should just be enough to secure mid-table that.

Not worth worrying about optics.

We were quite good last season under Moyes with the squad we have plus Doucoure and Harrison.

Hackney sends Garner to the bench, Dewsbury-Hall for Doucoure, Dibling for Harrison, and Justin giving us the option to slide O’Brien to CB probably keeps us at about the same level at worst while creating a whole bunch of upside to be realized.

Probably still needs a cheapo CM like Brownhill. Then all the players that have been problematic this preseason go to the bench or go out on loan and we’re in a much stronger position for our squad to meet the demands of a full PL season.

A full season of not being relegation fodder then makes us more attractive for further additions next summer.

Not arsed for DH. 20m maybe but there's talk of Chelsea wanting a profit

They’ve hardly played him since they bought him so will be taking a loss on him.

Buy Dibling, Sanchez, Hackney, loan Dewsbury-Hall? I'd be happy as a clam. Especially if the price comes down on McAtee as the deadline approaches.

Be a great summer if they were out actual signings and we brought in loans that were in the "option to buy" category as opposed to just loans for the sake of loans like we've had recently
