Easily the best it's been.
No coincidence that we had a 5:30 kick off allowed a few extra pints for everyone

Was proper that today.
We’ve just been fucked with the kick off times.
It’s been great whenever we’ve had a weekend game.
I stayed round the ground after the game tonight instead of going into town because I wanted to be part of it and I’ve not felt like that for a while.
Only downside was how impossible it was to get a drink anywhere from 4pm.
I decided to go the plaza and the queues were horrific so I ended up on the concourse.

I’m home with a drink, settled in watching match of the day.
We haven’t had that opportunity this season.
Even if we did win, it was home and straight to be up for work the next day.
Makes a massive difference having a game on a Saturday so we can all get into that routine.

Noise was unbelievable, deafening at times. And I'm not just talking about goals but even the singing in the second half was unbelievably loud. We've waited a while for a night like this and it was absolutely worth it. Can't wait for the derby.

I noticed that - I wanted to have one outside but the queues were horrendous so headed into the stands.
The weather was great though, so probably explains why outside was so much busier than inside (but also highlights a pinch point for planning)

Do the club run the vendors outside?
You could double the amount of vendors in the plaza to halve the waiting times, but if they are independent that will halve their revenues as well.
If it all comes to the club though, they will just take a small hit on the extra units and staff (which will probably be mitigated to a small extent by less people saying ‘Fuck the queue’ or ‘there’s not enough time’ meaning more sales made).

Anyway, more importantly, it’s so nice to hear so many of you having a great matchday experience and that it’s feeling more like home

I wrestled with Sun v Beer.
Beer won so headed inside, no queues then and 5.90 for a bud / 6.80 for San Miguel probably not much change in price to outside.
Pint in the Bramley Moore just outside the gates was nice previously, was too busy on Sat... but its like stepping back into non league club bars of the 1980's.
