Offside is the one case where there is fuck all reason for the referee to look.

Not watching but just seen it.

Needs to be the turning point that.

We can’t carry on like this.

2-0 Cherki. Surely now it's game over.

Haaland, Doku, Reijnders, Semenyo, Foden, Cherki... Man City suddenly look very scary.

That's a pretty goal. 0-2 Man City.

Keep on wondering which addition will make them click, as they still have seemed off it of late. Maybe it's Semenyo?

I turned it off after the VAR decision, I just can't be arsed with it.

He is an absolute beast of a player, arguably the best in the league this season, at least one of them anyway, and he has already seemingly hit the ground running. Absolutely could be the catalyst IMO.

I still think they need another defender to cover for Gvardiol. I won't be suprised if that ends up being Guehi later in the window.

Arsenal will have a big wobble IMO, it's just whether City are ready to pounce or not.

Shogun wrote: Tue Jan 13, 2026 9:37 pm It's almost like they found that rule to excuse that they made a mistake giving the goal. The Haaland one is tighter than the Wirtz one.
It was tighter than a vole's bum hole!

I just can't get my head around it, beyond bonkers, might as well just sit there and flip a coin. Craziest VAR moment ever, which is saying something!

Just watch it , that's bollocks they'll do the usual 3-2 vote that it was subjective but correct to the letter of the law shite.......
Offside but no tolerance given and deemed to be stopping Thiaw from getting to the ball whilst offside thus interfering. It wasn't a foul by Haaland they had hold of each other
Law is an ass and they're using VAR to re ref the game which they said they would not do.
It's been here how many years and is getting worse....
