I wouldn't, even when playing well pre-Moyes his inclusion in the team had a massive impact on how we could play. Unless you protect him massively he's a liability, and if you protect him in the way he needs to be it drags the team back on that side as a result.

He's not quick enough to play on the wing anymore so I wouldn't want him covering those positions either.

His performance levels have been good because of how Dyche set up to protect him but even as a sub I don't want him featuring next season.

It all depends on the various comings and goings (and even if he carries on playing), of course, but there's almost certainly going to be a high turnover of players in the summer and I'd put him in the "least-of-our-worries, limited-but-known-quantity" category, as a versatile player that can come on in a few positions if we're in a bind.

Having him as an option to shore up the flanks in the last 10 minutes is an ideal role, I'd say. Plus, he played a part in the equaliser on Wednesday and in the winner last night, so it's not like he's a complete passenger.

He strikes me as the kind of player (akin to Rooney) were if hes playing every week ge stays fit and keeps good form.

If hes in and out bit part i think he will start to stink the gaff out.

Not really that fussed tbh.

He’s been pretty good for us and will probably be happy just being around the place earning 60k to start the odd game and come on to whip a few crosses in or kill the game off.

It’s not like he’s injured all the time. He’s always available and is decent enough when he plays.

He's been good this season when he's played. Probably be on reduced terms too. Completely sensible given the scale of the rebuild
