I put in the match day thread it's time for Dyche to go, but actually his organisation and way of playing is probably what we need with the fixtures coming up, but once they're out of the way he needs to go.

As I've said above there's little to be gained from giving a new manager an impossible run of fixtures, let Dyche grind out a couple of points hopefully and give the new man the winnable fixtures and a chance to get done momentum going from the off.
That's not defending Dyche that's giving the new man a chance to build up some points and a head of steam.

On the flip side, new manager bounce could get us something, there’d be no great expectation of the manager and it gives him a few games to try and suss the players out for after the tough games. People mock things like the suggestion of Patterson but how many people saw Doucoure being the answer and pivotal under Dyche after he'd been left out entirely by Lampard? How many people saw Mykolenko being a strong enough LB defensively after being rinsed repeatedly under Lampard?
Some players will be more useful under a new manager. Some will be worse. We've got enough attacking options to be seeing more than we are at the moment. Get the best out of Ndiaye and you'll see a massive improvement in others that end of the pitch as well.

I don't think he's going to change anything now, he's not suddenly going to give Patterson games when Young's doing a solid job. He offers very little going forward (he did have a decent cross today at one point) but he's never going to take a man on, get to the bye line and whip a cross in. I'm not saying Patterson would either but we've not seen him for months now so don't really know what he can do anymore but I'd like to think a 23 year old with a bit of pace and technically quite good would be able to offer something going forward.
Dyche is in self preservation mode, he's thinking about his reputation and that's it. Wants to be seen as doing a great job against the odds with one hand tied behind his back. I keep saying it but he's no interest in developing a young player we spent a decent wedge on when he thinks he can rely on Ashley Young. Patterson's just another young player that we've been criminal with their development and he's ended up sitting watching games every week rather then being out playing somewhere.
