Isnt it always the case that they are all from the same country? Think they were from France for the Argentina game

No, it’s always mixed as far as I’ve seen.

Ref and linesman usually from the same country, but all other officials including VAR are from different countries, and often different continents.

I think the liners and the ref are always the country and have been through the tournament. The VAR dudes are different

Still isn't worthy of a 2 game ban . Thought he was actually having a good game in the circumstances , way better than his last ...

2 games ban just shows FIFA and infantino are just totally bent - one game ban minimum
its not the prem league for gods sake its a world cup ltd games competition
yeah it was a poor tackle by our lad but looks like some undue unfluence has been experienced here

Adding or reducing the ban on any player without a transparent process just seems super dodgy.
