Whatever happens, I'd like to think they've planned for this happening.
Has the Palace incident been confirmed yet? Haven't checked. Is it official they won't be playing in Europe next season?
Palace guy has sold his shares in them
At the same time Lyon have been relegated
So I imagine it’s likely Palace will play in Europe

I thought he'd missed a deadline or something to be able to do so.
But you're probably right, Lyon being relegated deffo changes things.

The deadline that Forest cried about was for putting shares in a blind trust, I’m not sure if selling his stake in the club has the same limitations

Do Lyon get booted from Europe? Technically they qualified on league position, so I’d be surprised if they can’t still compete.

In a case of two clubs being owned by the same person it goes on respective league positions, as they’ve been effectively moved to last and relegated then Palace should get the slot
But as Textor has sold his Palace shares now maybe they’ll both still get in

Lots of good reasons here why:
1. Multi-club ownership probably just shouldn’t be allowed
2. Private ownership of clubs is a mistake

Agree on the multi ownership issue but without private ownership we’d be playing at Goodison Park until the roof fell in.

On a side note, really sad to see Lyon in the state they're in now. They were a class side through the 2000s and always a force in the CL with some proper players - Juninho Pernambucano and his ridiculous free kicks spring to mind.
Frightening what can happen to clubs really.

Sets a nice precedent for Man City though, big club can be relegated regardless of status.

We are 100% selling the women's team. But i think it will be PSR deadline next season, the value should have increased by then.

More likely we do it tomorrow than next summer. Get it done before they change the rules.

That’d be “Everton that!”

Surely it's on the brink of being abolished or at least massively reformed.
Too many ways around it and too many loopholes.
Saying that if we sold the woman's team guarantee we will be the first and the only to he punished for it.
