Little talent and even less balance
David Moyes
Re: David Moyes
I’am fully moyes out now.
If he doesn’t go now, or before the summer, it feels inevitable that he’ll go before Christmas next season and it will be yet another wasted season.
He found a formula to get results, it got found out and he didn’t react.
The squad isn’t great but it has different options to be used that Moyes has refused to consider.
Persisting with that back four, rewarding Keane and mykolenko with contracts with a view for them to still play a lot of games next season tells me we have a manager who values experience and being a good lad over what’s actually needed in the premier league these days.
I don’t want him to have another summer having any sort of influence on how this squad is rebuilt.

Re: David Moyes
The problem is regardless of if we are right or wrong if he isnt replaced (and he wont be) hes only going to get a couple of games next season for it to completely turn against him.
We will be going into next season with very little positivity which is massively different from the previous 2.

Re: David Moyes
Relegation form since the halfway mark (Jan 1).
18 points in 19 matches.
Deserves the sacks absolutely no doubt about it.

Re: David Moyes
Grealish papered over the cracks. He was the out ball and freed up Ndiaye and KDH. Without him and more recently Gana we have reverted back to what we were before, a lower mid table/ relegation scrapping team.
The question is do we paper over the cracks for another year or do we try to build something sustainable. I don’t think Moyes has the appetite to build again. He’s even more conservative than he was during his first spell. We are treading water. Over to the Friedkins now. Do they have a vision for how we should build a team because I don’t see it coming from Moyes.

Re: David Moyes
If he starts next season serious question marks over TFG, and particularly their ambitions, or rather lack of them, for us
Re: David Moyes
I put yes on the poll, now I’m at best unsure heading towards no.
It’s going to take some transfer window and changes in team selection to get me back onside
If O’Brien at RB, and unless there are literally no options Keane & Tarkowski start next season I’m out

Re: David Moyes
Idiot.
Everton manager David Moyes speaking to BBC MOTD: "I didn't think it was a great performance from us, the second half was probably better, we had around 20 minutes at the end where we created opportunities.
"We were incredibly resilient not to buckle under early pressure, though. We gave away a lot of free kicks and that meant we had to defend a lot - the goal came from a corner kick."
On injury issues: "We need more players. I've seen it more in the last few weeks. I don't want to make excuses but also some decisions have gone against us.

Re: David Moyes
It might be true but its also just a massive excuse. I think the reality is that we are an incredible bunch of losers. Soon as something turns we have no fight for it
We are pathetic right through the club. Its so bad weve paid Coleman for about 3 years not to play just because he isnt pathetic.

Re: David Moyes
Resilient? They looked like they could score every set play. We were just lucky.Audrey Horne wrote: ↑Sun May 24, 2026 6:16 pm Idiot.

Re: David Moyes
If we found the courage to sack him we'd just go and give the job to Coleman. Everton is a life sentence.
Re: David Moyes
Got zero positivity already for next season. Can already see us starting with the same back 4, getting beaten at home first game and the Moyes coming out with some complete BS in the post match interview while a Grealish transfer saga has dragged on for way longer than it should have. Being and Evertonian is fucking grim.

Re: David Moyes
He is yesterday’s man a Center half when he played but can’t organise us to defend a cross can’t be having him here next year he has been a good servant to the club go now before the fans turn on him the new owners need to show balls here
Re: David Moyes
Yeah I’ve had it with the conservatism of Moyes. It has worked away from home really well this season (not recently) but what a horrible team to watch at home. We’ve got exciting players who could maybe change games, and we’ve got a substitute system now that allows for that to be part of the game. Do we use it? No. One up front, try and nick something on the break. Ugh. Let it flow Davey, let it flow.
Be cool or be cast out.
