McAllister was asked the other day about going back and said something like "never say never" so sounds like it's been on the go for a few days. Beale was always regarded as the tactician at Rangers and Villa while he was there, I think he'll be one of those good coach, shite manager and didn't really have much time in Saudi before Gerrard left.

I think it'll happen but it's another terrible appointment for Rangers, won a Covid title because Neil Lennon had a complete meltdown and lost the plot not because of any Gerrard genius.

Gerrard's turned down Rangers apparently.

They'll end up going for McInnes at Hearts then moan that they're watching hoofball all the time.

Sounds like Danny Rohl's going to get, very inexperienced for the pressure of that job.

Because they’re shit and he knows he can’t improve them with his limited managerial abilities. If they were in a title fight he’d be up for taking them over again though

Think it's more likely he knows he fluked the title the last time and there's too much for him to do to try and turn things around. In fairness, the club's a fucking mess and it's a challenge for anyone who takes it on.

Best man for the job imo. He did a superb job at a bonkers Wednesday to turn them around and they did score goals under him. He seems like he'd suit a club like Rangers. Think he's a far more encouraging and positive hire than the other options.

I've just read the Rangers thread on their forum for Rohl, what a bunch of thick bastards. Hope they go all in on Dyche instead.

Nah his massive ego won’t even let that be a consideration. The statement about loving to go back but the timing not being right is just a sign he wants it as easy as possible

A lot of my family are big Rangers fans, Rangers fans all seem well obsessed with Muscat. I think they must see him as their Postecolgou.

Dundee beating Celtic 2-0 with half an hour to go but with just 6% possession in the 2nd half it might be a struggle to hold on to it. Hearts would be five clear if it stays like this.

Looking forward to Hearts shitting the bed and losing 8 matches in a row or something

They no doubt will and it's not like McInnes plays revolutionary football, it's awful, route one hoofball. It's a bit like Aberdeen's start last year and only a matter of time before the bubble bursts.

Just took nearly four minutes for VAR to eventually over rule a hand ball that clearly struck the guy in the face.

Amazing performance this by Dundee although Celtic have been shite. First time Dundee have beaten Celtic at Dens Park since 1988!
