Everton v Liverpool
Re: Everton v Liverpool
How are the wrestling shaggers amongst us navigating wrestlemania this weekend with this also happening?
Personally saving the Saturday night for the Sunday so I can watch them back to back with a little buzz on after we’ve walloped the reds.

Re: Everton v Liverpool
Hate, hate, hate these games.
Taking all the emotion of it, and the worries about bottling it and jinxing it and all that, I just think we'll win though.
I think the game comes at a better time for us. Isak clearly isn't fit, and Ekitike's not there anymore. I think Beto has given their centre backs problems physically more than once, and I expect that to happen again. I think they have weaknesses at right back, and that's where our most skilful player plays. I like our centre midfield more than theirs at the moment. I think we have better legs in there. I also think chasing the ball around Anfield in the pouring rain in midweek could hurt them in the second half of this game.
My only slight worries are Ngumoha having a breakout game for them, or Salah producing a moment in his last derby.
But logically, I think we win this by a couple of goals.

Re: Everton v Liverpool
Yeah similar thoughts BD
In my head it is just the fucking script for Salah to become prime Salah again, or that Ngumoha to score two from 30 fucking yards.
So much pain there, that it is difficult to not think along these lines.
In reality we should win, but reality and the derby never seem to go hand in hand

Re: Everton v Liverpool
I knew you and Gash would have a fit.
I was going to add, I can't post the image because I'm currently in a meeting and skiving. But then I thought I'd raise your blood pressure instead

Re: Everton v Liverpool
For review though, I'd have got rid of the beatles and stuck Anfield on there instead

Re: Everton v Liverpool
Some Everton page saying Tifos are meant to be intimidating to the opposition etc and this isn't
But we aren't all children, who is going to be scared of a flag...
I'd also jib the Beatles what's point in that?

Re: Everton v Liverpool
I wouldn’t bother at all, waste of money in my opinion. Stick to scarfs and flags.
Re: Everton v Liverpool
Who’s getting intimidated by a tifo regardless of what’s on it?
All for stuff like this. Would have been great to have anfield on that though.

Re: Everton v Liverpool
Re the Beatles - something about claiming big, vital iconography of the city which tbh we have kind of been denied over the years partly just because they are called ‘Liverpool’ that I like.
Also it will rattle them a bit? Seems to have anyway.
