Can lob a big throw into the box too!

That would be at least one thing he would have over Jake.

I mean, how can a 6ft6 dude with arms like an orangutang never beat the first man?

Your 6 foot 6 man should be on the end of the throw not throwing it

If we’re selling him for big money, I think we should replace him using that money.

So, yeah, if they don’t get a right back and another wide player on top of Grealish I’ll criticise them.

They’ve got £80m coming their way, they should have been expecting this to happen and should have deals lined up to use that money wisely.
And I’m sure they have, pretty certain, no matter what we, or more so the ultra negative ones on here imagine, they have an idea what they’re doing. The problem is we’re a club that falls in to last few days of window category, and that’s 75% of the others in this league too.

Yes this is fair, especially as Mykolenko has a better long throw

If Moyes is vetoing all the RBs given to him by the recruitment team, then a strong leadership team would either fire him or buy the RB they think is the best option for the club.

And if Moyes doesn't play him, in favour of a midfielder or CB, fire him then. Don't let a manager with 12-months left on his contract dictate the health of the squad.

We have to have long term approach, the age profile of most of our signings suggests there is one, and everyone knows the manager to execute on this isn't Moyes. We're treading water until we move on from him.

I'd argue at least 5 years

It's basically gonna be Rohl at RB for now isn't it.

It won't get addressed again next year either.

It's certainly nearer 5 years than 18 months

I’ll be positive when I see some evidence of them knowing what they’re doing.

Don't really need Sarr do we?

Only way it makes sense really is if both Alcaraz and Iroegbunam go and he comes in to make up the numbers.

Confident we will be making enquiries to cover all potential bases.

Whilst I think they're generally a bit of a shit-show, I'm not willing to believe that there's a complete lack of common sense.

The bigger problem isn’t the right back itself, it’s how and why an issue like this has been allowed to be unsolved for so long and several transfer windows.

Who is specifically at fault? Is it Moyes, or the scouting team, or the board?

It might only be one position out of many, but it demonstrates serious deeper lying issues for a club of our size.
