Seemed to me to grow in confidence after his assist for Beto. Scoring the winner and celebrating with the lads and the fans singing his name will do him the world of good.

Lovely spin and run with the ball in the second half.

Raw as fuck and will be guilty of giving the ball away a bit, but I’m ok with that if it’s happening because he’s trying something positive. Got to have courage and got to have character to try, fail and try again.

Gives us something that Doucourè doesn't.

Still flaws there, thought his touch at times was heavy but that could improve.

Assist and a goal. Made up for him.

Does give me Enzo Fernandez vibes, hopefully without the casual racism.

He's a wee bit erratic but with Gueye and Garner behind him it's not a massive issue

He definitely needs to stick up the pitch, bit of a maverick nature which can cause chaos up top but would definitely be losing the ball in dangerous situations if we play him deeer

Made things happen and looked to get on the ball and be positive, something we’ve been crying out for in that position. No slouch either, and typical Argentinian work rate. Only been with his teammates and in the country a couple of weeks too. Excited to see how he develops, hope he does enough to trigger that payment clause.

He’s been playing in Brazil, should be miles off it. Now winning us games away from home. Has to start against United, they are there for the taking

Gives us something we haven’t got which is the ability to carry to ball forward quickly in transition with purpose and play a pass which his assist showed albeit down to palaces cock up throw

I know his 2 shots earlier in the game were maybe the wrong choice but it was clear he wanted to test a potentially groggy keeper which for me shows great footballing intelligence... Shame neither really did test him but I fully appreciated the idea of not the execution.

Took his goal very calmly, the weight of the pass to Beto was spot on... He's a baller for sure, but definitely a rough diamond.

Yeah but the Ronaldo celebration at the end? We’re going to have to drill that out of him.

yeah I’ll be well pissed off if we have to watch him do that over and over again.

I was just watching this back and the more you look at it the more it looks a really cool, calm and clever finish. First full start debut, mad firecracker club, chasing the winner, been in the country 5 minutes and coolly slots home aged 22.

Very impressive.

Hope he ages like fine wine because we could have some player on our hands.
