Right back. That’s all. Anything else is a bonus in January.

I really like this dudes reccomendation. Sign him up as a scout. Players like Kaio Jorge is exactly what Everton need but as he says - its those kind of players Everton never look at - gonna end up at Brighton or Bournemouth

Milan Van Ewijk please...almost joined Wolfsburg for just £10m in the summer. He's still only 25!

We spent £120m in the summer without recouping hardly anything at all. And on the back of years of FFP trouble.

We'll be pretty much spent up this season, I imagine there's not much left in the pot. How can there be? We're not making huge money yet and we've spent a lot in net terms. Plus we need to find another £20m for Rohl.

I think people are in for a shock if you think we're spending £60m on Bowen haha

It will be a couple of loans.

Even if we have money, I'm not sure we need to be spending anyway.

Just need to get our best players back, get through the season as the mid table team we wanted to be this season (whether top half or bottom half) and invest in the summer.

Very rare you get a good long term signing in January anyway, so there's not a lot of value to be had for a club like us unless it's a clever loan. Same the pennies for next summer.

One for the stattos and tacticians. Because our wingers on both sides are pretty slow, if we signed two fast, overlapping fullbacks, would this solve our problems and give us a good way to play - or do we need a fast winger on at least one side?

a good slow winger will have the nouse to play one twos or a give and go ball to a speedy fullback.

Hoping for one or two loans/loans to buy I think is probably where we're at this window. It wouldn't be a huge, huge surprise if nothing happens though and it's probably the most likely outcome.

There should be a lot of players looking for playing time before the World Cup so I think it'd be a missed opportunity if we find nobody.

Ideally you need a quick winger too as they're usually the ones who are hit early on counter attacks, which you can't do with full backs

This would seem the most sensible strategy for now Image

He was Spurs top scorer last season with 18 goals, solid, slightly better than 1 in 3 return. I'd happily see either of our strikers have no end product like that.
