Argh, this makes me want to stop watching, but I’m loving this world cup.

I hate that orange cunt.

No one gives a fuck anymore, corruption in plain sight is perfectly acceptable it seems.

Probably because there is never any consequences, these fuckers just roll on and on.

Corrupt
I’m a USA fan would rather that red not been reversed in such a dodgy manner. I didn’t really agree with the call in the first place, but it was made and I don’t see a legitimate basis to override it.

Reversing it is a disservice.

Hate that.

I didn’t think it should’ve been a red in the first place since he didn’t know where the defender’s leg was when he started his stride. Thought it was a misuse of VAR, taking a slow motion look at something that wasn’t even a booking called in real time.

But this is the absolute silliest and most corrupt way to change the decision. Infantino makes Blatter look like a paragon of virtue, which takes some doing.

Belgium should kick up a massive fuss over this.

Precedent is Ronaldo, they just want the viewership as high as possible for as long as possible (so hosts + Messi and Ronaldo get special treatment) and there are way more potential US viewers than Belgian.

In this case, at least the decision of a red is reasonably arguable compared to Ronaldo’s one.

The ruling bodies have always been corrupt, they just don't need to hide it anymore. The fans, like ourselves, are all mugs as we love the sport and they know we won't turn our back on it.

Thats awful, its not even been overturned on review, its been suspended for 12 months.

I felt it was a red, although I understand the counterview that it was clumsy. Either way thats just a bit... saddening isn't it. I think any genuine US fan would bre uncomfortable with it.

I waited my whole life for the us finally have a striker so whatever, I’ll take this. The whole red and var process was dodgy to begin with.

Trump posting on truth (what a fucking joke) social, “well done FIFA for reversing this injustice” tbh, that’s the final straw for me, couldn’t give a fuck anymore about this WC as long as US don’t win it, couldn’t give a shit about Mexico v England anymore, it’s pointless, just get on the plane home and fuck it.
