Don’t mind it being a Monday night.

Plenty of time to mill round and soak up the atmosphere, will be the only game that day and Goodison when the sun is setting is sublime.

Much better than a Sunday lunchtime.

What do we want that old c**ting hanger on there for? Didnt’t wanna know us when were looking for investment “ there’s 2 teams in the city so it wouldn’t be fair” ….yet hang some pound notes out and there he is !!! He’d be at an opening of an envelop if it kept him in the limelight and he got paid…..

Get Elton John on to perform I guess why they call it the blues.

Maybe Tiny Dancer for a laugh.

I would love this but I fear the police may raise objections given the expected amount of non-ticket holders hanging around late into the evening.

An evening kick-off would be the perfect way to say goodbye though.

Last game is going to be a Monday night isn’t it and a load of our fans will spend the build up to it going on about the corrupt premier league.

Can’t be arsed with it. I think the fan base is losing the plot a bit over the whole thing.

Why would it be corrupt?

I plan on taking my little lad. He's in year 6 and I'm not too keen on taking him to night games on a school night.

My plans to palm him off and have his mum pick him up after the match so I can have one last pint in all the county road pubs afterwards is also gonna take a hit if they move it

I think Monday night would be a bit shite for our last game, all very "modern football" for such an old, iconic stadium. I know it can't be the Saturday but Sunday 2pm would probably give the best fan experience. Get there nice and early and enjoy the atmosphere around the ground, watch the game then be able to hang around after and enjoy one last time at Goodison. Monday night for a lot of people will mean rushing away from work, getting to the game then people needing to get away after it having to hang around after until probably 11pm, it just wouldn't feel right saying goodbye to Goodison at 10pm on a Monday night.

There’s a narrative building that the premier league will put it on a Monday evening to fuck us in some way.

Even though the club said they didn’t want it on the last day of the season as they want the game to the the focus of attention.

If that’s the case then they’ve left the league little choice in when they schedule the game for.

I’d prefer Sunday myself but seems like the club want it to be the only game on the day which would rule that out.

Monday night would be shite.

Like Gash says, rush back from work, rush hour traffic if travelling, not being able to stay much after the game etc

Sunday at 2 would be perfect, even 4.30pm on the sunday is good.

Being able to take in the full day.

Think that’s BMD that they are applying for the extended license, not GP, not sure anyone would want to hang around for a warm plastic bottle of Carling.
