Hayden Hackney
Re: Hayden Hackney
It feels a little bit like the positive posters are glass half full. And the negative posters are the glass is empty. Smashed on the floor and shards of glass are stuck in their feet.
Re: Hayden Hackney
Oh shit, I didn’t realize this was effectively done.
Made up with this. Thought we should’ve been in for him last summer, better late than never.

Liking it.
Always love getting players from the championship.
At least they are well in tune with the English game.

Re: Hayden Hackney
Not much wrong with this deal.
If it is at the £16.5m quoted, for the Championship Player of the Year and England U-21 international, then it might be a smart bit of business.
Looks like he is comfortable in the final third of the pitch too, which would be nice.

Re: Hayden Hackney
Yeah nothing to be unhappy about with the Hackney deal. Great price, a player who's developed over the past few years so we're getting a ready and rounded player. Shouldn't find the step up too hard or have trouble adapting like a player from overseas might.
Great piece of business, and if we can move Alcaraz on for a similar fee then it's an instant improvement in squad depth and quality.

Like I said everyone’s entitled to an opinion it’s just that yours is the constant repetitive drivel…..you should change your name to The Blue Grinch…777Kidnappings wrote: ↑Mon Jun 29, 2026 10:15 pm I know and all while weve been doing so well. I bitched when kenwright was in charge and was told hes a good blue. I bitched when moshiri was in charge and was told he was a billionaire accountant and its not our money. Time and time again they've made a fool of me. Success after success.
Guess I should apologise for being so negative this last decade or so.

Re: Hayden Hackney
I’ll be honest - as a positive and overly optimistic poster (80% of the time - I’m still a Blue) I enjoy 777’s posts most of the time.
They give me a different perspective and something else to think about.
The trouble with being so negative about Everton is that they prove you right too often and I don’t think we can blame him for that.

Seems a fun player and different to what we have, I’m not 100% sure he works in the prem he might just get pocketed but I am fairly into it atm
