Can't we just sign the guy who scored a few goals when Luton were in the premier league
He is a free agent atm

Swerve if Chelsea want silly money because it's too much of a gamble, especially as we need other positions filled. Moyes clearly likes him, so I'm sure he won't listen to me

Have you tried getting him in a headlock?
I hear it’s a great way to negotiate with senior management at the club.

At 40 mill I think it's a gamble worth taking. He will get double figures which is a reasonable amount for all but a few strikers these days. But his physicality and hold up play will improve us markedly.

Id be horrified if we spent 40m on him. Hes had 1 season wirh good numbers. We are so often the sucker that's willing to take over a top teams problem

Chelsea with a 2-window transfer ban is going to mess up the international purchasing of kids and loaning then out markets.
At 23, Delap falls into that category I think

Suspended transfer ban they only really got a fine they could have gotten a 15 point deduction I wonder what we would have gotten

I’ve only watched him in about 10 games (twice that I can remember against us) and on zero occasions have I thought to myself “I wish he played for us”
If he was 10-20m he would be worth a punt where we would be guaranteed to make our money back. But at these prices it’s a no from me ( not that it matters)
