With the dodgy link I’m not sure if this transfer is to be or not to be, but if football be the food of love play on.

If he comes he should be aware that the Hill Dickinson is a stage and all the men are merely players.

I hope he’s solid defensively and doesn’t turn our backline into a comedy of errors, and that he matches opposing wingers measure for measure, and then all’s well that ends well.

Although parting is such sweet sorrow, can I be bard now, please.
That’s why I corrected it 😉

No need to be a drama queen, Brownie 😉

*I’m continuing the Shakespere theme here btw, before anyone thinks I’m dissing the Brownster

“ Strasbourg is demanding €40m to let Guéla Doué leave! 💰🇨🇮

Having already raked in nearly €170m from player sales, RCSA remains open to the Ivorian full-back's departure. Bayer Leverkusen is monitoring the situation, but the asking price is seriously complicating matters.”

We swoop in when Leverkusen balk at the asking price. Easy.

Just need to cobble together £10m in straight cash for Tim, £8m for Patterson, stick in the £15m we seem to already have and there we go! Simple

That’s the spirit.

It’s happening, we’re going to make it happen with the power of suggestion.

Worryingly no mention of anyone in for Alcaraz this window.

6 foot 3 and can play RB or CB... Sounds a bit like O'Brien!

Although looking at some info on him he's apparently very athletic, so maybe has some of JOB's qualities but can actually play RB properly.

Apparently he played 21 times for Chelsea last season and tbh although I recognise the name I know absolutely nothing about him.

Anyone actually seen him play?

Seems like they don’t want to sell? Maybe a loan as likely needs playing time but not sure developing a Chelsea kid ahead of Rohl if we don’t have the option to buy is a good idea.

Loan with an option though would be great, if Moyes would trust him.

I’d prefer someone with more specialist knowledge of the position and less of a defensive utility man but you won’t catch me complaining about targeting Chelsea academy castoffs.

They throw a ton of talent on the scrap heap. If they’re good eggs and willing to move north to play, send them our way. Ditto for City, minus the moving part.

Italian press reporting Rowe will be heading to Atalanta if they can agree terms for around €40m

Edit: would be easier if Twitter translated inline, but this post is reporting initial rejection of €30m + €5m
