I'd be so into this personally, Gana and Luiz feels like a nice balance

Yeah, bang into this if we could get it done.

Him sitting and screening the back 4 mopping up after Gueye, spraying passes to the fullbacks with Ndiaye, Alcaraz and Kubo ahead of them? πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†πŸ’¦πŸ’¦πŸ’¦

No I'm married to a Dutchie but I don't have much knowledge of the eredivsion. Also my username pre-dates any connection to Holland weirdly as I was nicknamed it when I was 18 and didn't meet my wife until 7 years later.

One of those weird quirks of life / glitches in the matrix πŸ˜‚

Am sure discussions are taking place but we are up against Spurs for him and apparently he has expressed a strong desire to join Spurs.

Why would he go to a team who finished below us last season, no ambition that lad.

Signing Luiz would be a little similar to signing Ndiaye. Proven in England but didn’t quite happen for him abroad.

I just get the feeling that if we can make 3/4 top quality signings in this window, then we could have a really good season.

I would say that 1/2 can be Barry-esq signings where they have a little more risk attached but more upside. And then 2 signings where they are more known quantities, like Luiz.

Ye just to manage expectations, I can't see Luiz wanting to come to us, with some of the options he'd probably have.

Also loads of reports saying he’s in talks with West Ham. It’s all the usual clickbait stuff

My son has just asked if the Douglas Luiz news means that Alisha Lehmann will be joining Everton ladies πŸ˜†

Just saying it as it is, let’s not carried away with something that in all likelihood will not happen (now how’s that for a real fuck off cock block 😜)
