The Rebuild
Re: The Rebuild
Yeah, bang into this if we could get it done.
Him sitting and screening the back 4 mopping up after Gueye, spraying passes to the fullbacks with Ndiaye, Alcaraz and Kubo ahead of them?

No I'm married to a Dutchie but I don't have much knowledge of the eredivsion. Also my username pre-dates any connection to Holland weirdly as I was nicknamed it when I was 18 and didn't meet my wife until 7 years later.
One of those weird quirks of life / glitches in the matrix

Luiz is a great player. Improves us and makes a statement at the same time
Just get it done ffs

Re: The Rebuild
Am sure discussions are taking place but we are up against Spurs for him and apparently he has expressed a strong desire to join Spurs.

Re: The Rebuild
Signing Luiz would be a little similar to signing Ndiaye. Proven in England but didn’t quite happen for him abroad.
I just get the feeling that if we can make 3/4 top quality signings in this window, then we could have a really good season.
I would say that 1/2 can be Barry-esq signings where they have a little more risk attached but more upside. And then 2 signings where they are more known quantities, like Luiz.

Re: The Rebuild
Ye just to manage expectations, I can't see Luiz wanting to come to us, with some of the options he'd probably have.
Re: The Rebuild
Also loads of reports saying he’s in talks with West Ham. It’s all the usual clickbait stuff
Re: The Rebuild
My son has just asked if the Douglas Luiz news means that Alisha Lehmann will be joining Everton ladies
Re: The Rebuild
Just saying it as it is, let’s not carried away with something that in all likelihood will not happen (now how’s that for a real fuck off cock block
