Feel like Chelsea must have. Mourinho the second time around? Maybe Conte. Obviously Carlo was sacked minutes after the end of the following season!NomadskiEFC wrote: ↑Wed Nov 26, 2025 9:56 pm Sooo, I can remember Claudio Ranieri being sacked post winning the league, but apart from him when was the last time a manager was sacked within the season after winning the top flight?

Yeah Mourinho got sacked 2015 after winning the league. Conte was sacked in July, so doesn't count.

They had it on Sky the other day, think it was Mourinho 2 then Ranieri who had the shortest reigns post title.

They’ll panic, get Gerrard in as caretaker whilst they do a “proper search”, he’ll win a few of their easy December games, get the gig permanently, guide them to 18th in the league

Yeah in a weird way I hoped they would win to put the pressure off him for a short while.
If he loses the next game I can’t see how he stays.

Is anyone saying the players have downed tools? Or are they at least, on the surface, still trying?

Giving Rangers v Braga a watch, Joao Moutinho still playing at the grand old age of 39.
