Travers has fallen well down the Irish international pecking order which in itself is a bit worrying. He never filled me with great confidence when I’ve seen him play and he didn’t seem to take the opportunities that came his way at Bournemouth. Wish him well and it will be good to have yet another Paddy on the books.

I know it’s the Dutch league but his highlight reel for this season is amazing. Pacy and can shoot with both left & right foot.

You’re not fucking wrong though! Great highlights reel. What stood out for me is how well he gets his head up. When they shout at kids to get their head up, this is why. He’s clearly placing shots or passes exactly where he means to. Brilliant!

Every goal was into the corner or side netting though.
Weight of pass good. Right foot crossing weaker but still OK.
Great acceleration and power. Creative and clever movements. Looked like he was being used as the spark.
Would be a good signing based on that clip.

Forest will be desperate to get him with MGW going to Spurs, but you’d like to think we’d be a more attractive proposition than them or Bournemouth, but I could see him being great under Iraola.
He might prefer Germany of course, and Leipzig and Leverkusen are good clubs, so we’ll see.
