Still dont know what his best position is. Mixed info online.. DM, box to box, attacking midfield.
I think he described himself as box to box in an interview. Dont know if id trust him and Iroegbunam in the middle together, but it would give us better balance to put Garner RB.

I like his energy, given his time sidelined, dont really have an opinion beyond that. I really hope we get a good look at him and he is good enough to rotate a few others and keep the squad fresh.

If he stays injure free, it's going to be a great little addition once he gets up to speed in the prem.
He has that midfield dynamo about him.

Him and Iroegbunam are both pretty quick and physical.
Be cool if they both stay injury free and become disciplined midfielders for us.

Probably his worse game for us today. Just looked off the pace of the game. We’re going to have to be patient with Rohl, Dibling and Barry clearly though as they’re all works in progress.
Or if they’re really not ready and need game time then get them a loan.

Thought he was pretty shit against Forest too... Given Armstrong's performance I'd be tempted to send Rohl to Preston instead of Armstrong!

He's been poor but not giving up hope yet when he's not got many minutes. Just don't know what sort of player he is at all is the problem.

Don't think he has played well in any game yet. Constantly gets caught on the ball, looks a yard off the pace of this league and not seeing anything worth persevering with him over Armstrong for the next few games.

Expectations were high when Merlin Röhl first broke into SC Freiburg's first team, but things never quite took off for the 23-year-old before his move to Everton in the summer.
Explaining why the club gave the green light for Röhl to join Everton on loan with a reported €25 million purchase obligation, Freiburg sporting director Jochen Saier told Kicker:
“There were external factors like injuries and illness, which Merlin couldn’t do anything about and had to be accepted. After his return in the second half of the season, the team performed well, and it wasn’t easy for him to get into the starting eleven.”
Freiburg weren’t arsed to see him go. Seems like an absolute nothing player.

That attempted cross was poor that lead to their goal.
Probably plaued about three different positions in the last couple of games though so it's difficult to get any sort of form going.

I think we just like that hes more energetic than most. Hes been consistently a bit shit but its a treat to see someone who moves about a bit. I certainly wouldn't be playing him ahead of armstong
