Re: Summer Transfer Window 2026
Something massively dodgy going on there. He's 21 in January and was on loan in League One last season with Northampton and Bradford where as a striker he scored 3 goals in 33 matches.
Re: Summer Transfer Window 2026
Used to do these mad deals under Martinez.
David Henan, Leandro Rodriguez, Sharni Tarasaj
Always have a whiff of someone being on the take.
Moyes brother involved by any chance?

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2026
I found the interview with Kinnear very interesting.
I am still to be convinced but at least it was comforting for a negative pessimist like me to hear his toughts about the clubs strategy. The most important take outs from the interview is that they want to do this slowly.
As I understood him the new financial rules is making it even harder than before to reach the level of the clubs with a dominating revenue stream.
He insinuated that the reason for Aston Villa and Newcastle to sell star-players this summer was because of these economic rules and that those two clubs had done it all a bit too fast and now had to "pay for it". That tells you all about how fucked the PL is when the rules makes it easy for Arsenal, Chelsea and even Tottenham to raid those clubs for elite talent. In my opinion these rules are destroying the game.
I also liked that Moyes do have a saying in all the transfers but that they are balancing it out as they are desperate to do signings for the long term.
We saw the result of this last season when Aznou and Dibling was signed without Moyes being keen to use them.
Kinnear also said that Aznou has gone from scoring lowest on every physical test to be among the better now. He hailed the talents at the club and was of the opinion that we had really good young players in all positions now...Lets see if they are as talented as he thinks they are - I think they could become much better in spotting young talent all over the world. Look at that english striker Villa found in France - wow!
Last but not least - Kinnear goes a long way in telling us that Ndiaye doesnt want to stay at Everton and that he will leave the club within a year.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2026
Was quite revealing at times. The way he constructed his answers didn't give everything away, but certainly let a little slip, measured to soften some blows, or otherwise misstepped, and a bit of foreshadowing, trying to appease the Moyes out crew by explaining we failed in the final part of the season and that the owners know it and wanted it known.TrevorSteven wrote: ↑Wed Aug 19, 2026 11:19 pm I found the interview with Kinnear very interesting.

Doubt he talks to them nearly every day.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2026
We seem to be asking about a lot of players, so I’m not going to get too worked up but that said these last few links are having me think that going with what we’ve got might not be so bad a choice after all :/
I’d rather play Keane up top.
