Felt like the tide turned tonight. The booing of the Beto/Young substitution with the general manner of the defeat was clearly too much for the Goodison faithful after the way we've started the season. Any good credit Dyche had seems to have dissipated at his point.

Maybe he'll turn it around again but if we're still winless after Leicester A and Palace H then I think Goodison will be pretty vitriolic towards him and with Newcastle H after that before an international break then it feels like that Newcastle match would be his last.

Who knows though, maybe we'll bang out a classic 1-0 against Palace.

Needed something positive from tonight to take into the next league, even if it was just a performance. Feels like sliding down the slippery slope into the shit now.

yeah, i'm one of the last to go on the "sack the manager" rant. stuck with frank a lot longer than most, so make of that what you will. just seems he's got some blind spots that are really bad. insisting on playing keggers and young, is top of the list. never making subs when players are puffing is bananas.

Think he's done as much as he can do with the dross he's been given and the club needs a change.

Exactly yeah, cheaper to sack and rehire than to sell a relegated club. Has to go if we don't start to turn it around at Leicester.

The squad has some big gaps, but still some good players for a decent coach to come in and get something from.

The squad is hideous. The complete lack of pace. The wingers and full backs are probably the worst in the league, some wouldn't get in okay championship teams

The managers performance has also been lacking this season too though. On top of that we are managing to write headlines now too. The losing from 2 up twice. It's a bit of a meaningless story but it's a big headline. Same with youngs penalty. It's the worst way we could have lost for the manager

Think dyche probably should go now. The dof has plenty to answer for too though

I think he knows he's going when a new owner comes in, whatever our position at the time.
Things are so dire I wouldn't be against a change now but all the same questions that have influenced all the previous managerial changes remain.
