Hasn't helped himself tonight. If Beto is our striker this weekend because DCL is ill or something then I'd get it a little more, but it didn't work at all.

That said, we had the chances again and just couldn't take them. So, not everything on the manager you'd have to say...but 20% possession is a grim stat at home.

Even then you'd think Beto would benefit from staying on and potentially scoring a goal for the confidence boost

Yes, I'd probably also say Beto I imagine would just benefit from playing more in general.

Awful that. No excuse not to control that game. If we play like the away team in every home game we won't stand a chance, the league is just too good to concede possession and expect a good outcome.

Arsed about the cup but our terrible form continues and that's the really worry

24% possession at home to the club just promoted via the play off.

Who have we beat this year including preseason? Doncaster and little sisters of the poor?

Really turgid performance, they put us under no pressure but we never tried to take control of the match, never tried to press them when they fucked about with it at the back... Just felt like we had no desire to win that and just hoped to win on pens.

Plenty of changes and we lack quality, but the game plan was just so negative that none of that really applies.

Not sure if this was in response to conceding so many goals lately but if he thinks the answer to get the fans back on side is this then he's badly mistaken.

Need a win against Leicester or even his biggest supporters are going to start getting restless.

Think he'll either be gone in the next couple of weeks or it's going to turn extremely toxic. Teams shit, squads infinitely shitter, not getting much luck but the manager is making all the decisions the fans don't want to see

It's criminal the state our club has fallen in.

Like all the previous managers.... the best argument now for keeping dyche is the lack of money and the ineptitude of our recruitment

Can’t really see a way out of this for Dyche now.
Other than the fact we have either no senior management that gives a fuck or none at all.
This just has to stop. It only gets more toxic from here and we absolutely have to stay up this year into the new stadium

What thought went into this?

What ideas were instilled into the team ahead of this game?

What plans were hatched to unlock the mighty Southampton?

I would guess that the answer to all these questions is the same ‘Zero’.

If there are zero ideas, creativity, plans or clear thought coming across from the manager then I have to ask the question: ‘Just what the fuck is a Sean Dyche for?’
