Buddy of mine who works in the industry reckons if grealish is gong to happen it wont be until towards end of the window, potentially a deadline day loan move.MayorFarnham wrote: ↑Mon Jul 07, 2025 8:48 pm Has it just gone quiet on Grealish or has it been debunked.
The Rebuild

Re: The Rebuild
Yeah. We ain't getting McGinn.
He's their captain and one of their most important players.
I get they need to raise funds but they aren't selling him.
Don't need him anyway, too similar to Gueye.
I could see interest maybe before we had tied Gana down to a new deal but doubt it stretched further than that.

Re: The Rebuild
McAtee is good, but he doesn't have much pace as far as I'm aware, and I feel like pace is absolutely vital for that RW position. Ndiaye on the other side can travel well with the ball but isn't leaving anyone for dead.
We need a dynamic threat in behind on one side at least for some balance.
And then ideally a fast attacking left back would be able to overlap Ndiaye and give an added threat.

Re: The Rebuild
Think he's a natural #10 McAtee, would love him here. Versatile, energetic, eye for a pass.Bluedylan1 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 08, 2025 10:45 am McAtee is good, but he doesn't have much pace as far as I'm aware, and I feel like pace is absolutely vital for that RW position. Travers has 2 years left on his Bournemouth contract.

Re: The Rebuild
He's rubbish but he'd never play, it is what it is with goalkeepers behind Pickford.

Re: The Rebuild
He's played about 40% of his games at CM, 40% CAM and then the rest between both wings and even a striker - a very versatile player.
I swear City had some sort of cloning machine for left-footed young English creative players with McAtee (22), Palmer (23) and Foden (24) as they are all similar players
Re: The Rebuild
Have to get pace on the right side. You need different ways of attacking teams, and we massively lack any sort of pace in the squad.

Re: The Rebuild
McAtee has some creativity and a ton of versatility. I'm all for it.

Re: The Rebuild
Benfica fans don’t seem to rate him so doubt he’d cut it in the PLTrowel wrote:https://x.com/Ekremkonur/status/[emoji637][emoji[emoji6]
