I really like what he's doing, he's got us fit, working hard, committed and above all we look well coached, disciplined and everyone knows their role and sticks to it. He's just what we need right now, both on the pitch and under the current circumstances off it, he's been around the block, he's media savvy and knows how to get the best out of players.
Encouraging as well is he was talking tonight about adding a bit of style, not that I think we've played that 'ugly' anyway, I'd happily play like this and take 12 points out of every 15.
I said a couple of weeks ago, it's just nice to enjoy games and look forward to the next one. Let's just hope he keeps Ashley Young out of the starting 11 from now on.

Yep he's earned his stripes big time. He'll be leading us into a new stadium and I didn't expect it. The football us effective if not pretty. That isn't to say we don't have good passages of enjoyable play though.
It reminds me of when we were pinging it up to Fellaini under Moyes and we had players hustling around him. Long may it continue

Unless we get them back on appeal, we will never get them back.
It's a back handed compliment that after only 5 games we are back where we were before the deduction well clear of the drop
I think until @Bluedylan1 mentioned it in the match day thread I'd sort of bought in to the narrative a bit of us wiping off the deduction... Mainly because of how the last couple of seasons have gone, and never in my wildest dream could I have hoped we'd be well clear of the bottom three already.
Media see us as just fighting relegation, and really although I thought we'd be fine, it's still been my biggest goal for the season to not be in trouble... So effectively winning points was my main concern.
When I read that comment though it really irked me that we're actually being robbed of a potential European challenge, we're not plucky Everton battling the odds, we're a bonified top 10 team with European aspirations... Definitely hammered home the injustice of the deduction, as even though it won't cost us our premier league status, it robs us of many other potential things that would be great for the fans after a difficult time in recent seasons.

Sign of a good manager with a solid tactical plan is when reserves step in for first choice and you barely notice a difference.
That's the thing that's impressed me the most today... We beat a poor team, but we did it comfortably despite players we normally have heart palpitations when we see them on the team sheet playing.
Shows there's a plan, it's workable and everyone knows thier roles, what's expected and how to execute them.

I mean, if the FFP laws are there to protect clubs from getting into financial difficulties, how can it also place a barrier on increasing earnings and claim it is still there for the same reason?
I said early doors he's the manager we needed over what we may have wanted. In my experience of being a blue lifer, we are a club of tradition, somewhat old school, bonded by emotion and a no nonsense fan base. Dyche suits us and he's found our team amongst individuals. They play like team at last, they fight for each other in a system that let's teams have possession and we hit back on the counter. He won't recruit stars, but players who embrace his way. Feels good for a change. I apologise to Godfrey because that tackle was sublime and would never have happened under another manager.
I'm loving that little statement that he keeps adding into his post match interviews just recently "We're not the real deal yet". It suggests that whilst he's happy tontake the three points, he's still wanting more from the players and he's still wanting to improve even further.
If the powers that be aren't lostening, shout even louder.
Goes to show that fitness desire and proper organisation are the 3 things any proper manager should be able to get a team to do dyche is doing great but the shit we have been watching under frank and Benitez makes me wonder how they actually got jobs anywhere

The numbers match the results. We’re direct and pragmatic but still manage to constantly create chances going forward.
Absolutely love the way we press from the front but don’t do it all over the pitch so when it’s beat there’s still a solid structure behind us.
It really stood out for me yesterday. 92nd minute, Burnley have the ball, and our front 3 are still pressing hard, making them waste another 30 seconds, by the time they do bring it out, everyone is in position.
