Muñoz is a non-starter due to cost.
You know the old saying: If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try again then give up and scramble around last minute for something else

I can't think of another club that keeps going back to former players and managers, thinking they will be as good, second and sometimes third time around.

So we have forty mil lying around for Doue but can’t afford Munoz at twenty?

More nonsense from Bobble

Didn't bobble say on his pod about Richy too , well that's what my lad told me .., thinks it all old news being circulated, yeah we made an enquiry that's all ....

We should be all over Munoz ---- Moyes
When you consider the alternatives are AWB , KWP, KW , Castagne, Johnson...

Doue as good as he looks etc 40m for an unproven PL RB is a risk , don't get me wrong though that's what your scouts are for so you'd expect him to perform and I'd take the risk but it's a risk for our Budget...

The answer is nobody knows much, but everyone is entitled to their opinion, good or bad, positive or negative.

For every negative opinion, I would suggest that there will be quite a few positive ones to balance it out.
Ye can’t help but “concentrate” on the negative posts it’s practically every post……we could get mbappe and lamahl on free transfers then bought out by elan musk and certain people would still find summit to moan about!!!

It’d be more than just moaning, it’d be bye bye Everton if that ever happened

4evablu wrote: Mon Aug 17, 2026 3:12 pm the fanbase on here is so negative on everything that happens around the club...we sign younger players and it not good enough...we sign experienced players and it's not good enough....we go after Munoz and he's too old at 30...linked with richarlison.... would love him back ....dont want him back at 29??
there's total disconnect between the transfer committee and moyes...and visa versa....total disconnect between moyes and the players and visa versa...
MY only question is how the FUCK DO YOU KNOW....please explain your knowledge of all things behind closed doors and how you know...
RANT OVER...and breathe
If you're looking for every fan to be some sort of hive mind and be on the same page with transfers or the manager...I don't think that happens at any club.

Everyone has there own ideas and preferences about the best way forward for a club that has had some serious issues both on and off the pitch over a number of seasons.

Ultimately none of us get a say though, it's just people giving their opinion and this forum would have 1 topic and about a bunch of replies which all agree if that weren't the case and you'd not bother reading because what'd be the point?

Ahh. So after a verbal agreement fell through for Fulhams Kenny Tete, a whole year later, we try for his back up.

Can't make it up.

Doesn't seem to be when he plays for his country and does pretty well when he does.
