It’s very romantic to suggest that he might come back, but Richy is very injury prone and I dont think he is a better option than Barry. He will also be expensive.
Barry has started really well in pre season and has stepped up. With him leading and Beto as backup, that should get us goals.
We shouldn’t keep looking back at these types of deals, but looking forward with some of the real talent we have in the squad and be patient with it. If 3 of Branthwaite, Barry, Dibling, Armstrong or George have break out seasons, we will have a very good year given the solid backbone we have. We don’t need Richy to have a good season.

Richy walks in our team at CF. Sad but true. Not against it at right price, but that’s unlikely dealing with spurs
Barry is better than Richarlison

Richy is finished can’t stay fit for more than 5 games let’s stick with big bad Barry

Barry isn’t even better than Beto. Let’s not kid ourselves on after a few pre season games, different kettle of fish now the real stuff starts. His all round play and at times application is simply not premier league standard.
*not saying Betos is by the way

Love Richy and would love him back. I do think we've got quite an exciting squad now but we're desperately short of goals. He wasn't ever really prolific but as an alternative off the bench/starting if Barry's form drops, I think he'd be a decent option.
But he'll be 30 in May, his injury record isn't great and they're wanting £35m, so there are several red flags against it. Perhaps a loan would be a good solution.

Watching Barry yesterday I really miss having a recognized centre forward target man, nothing sticks to him and I don't think he knows what he's doing, certainly the players around him dont

Some of the comments here is why we struggle to develop young players we have no patience at all when we were signing established players for big money under moshiri it was wrong now we are trying to do things differently and guys are writing off players after a couple of games Barry will score 15 goals this season if we persist with him

Quality kids show. Used to find myself watching episodes after the kids had gone to bed.
