We'd be fighting relegation if we were in Europe next season.Blues Mahoney wrote: ↑Sat Apr 11, 2026 3:49 pm Absolutely.
All I've read in the press during the past 3 weeks is "Everton hammer Chelsea and have a chance of Champions League!", as if!!! It's been embarrassing to be honest, have any of them even watched us this season?!
What a load of garbage, you just knew it would all come crashing down today.
We were never going to get 8th and Conference League, we're just way too inconsistent, as today shows. A defeat next week and it will be normal service resumed. I'd imagine we'll finish around 12/13th. Which is fine. At least no worries of relegation this season.

Fair play to Brentford. Both teams evenly matched, but Kayode is a player you'd like to have but hate to play against.
Imagine his throw ins for Everton...we'd be telling him to take 30, 40 secs per throw in!

He owed us that one after his brain fart clean through earlier on.
A point keeps everything ticking over for the rest of the season.

Commentator just said we are resilient. Perfect description of how we’ve developed this season. Resilient.

Re: Brentford v Everton
Missed most the game, but good result in the end. Sounds like we weren’t at it today, but good resilience again.
