Its going to be another boring game tonight, there's no way Doctor Congo (love that by the way who ever said it earlier) will come out and have a go at us. They'll play for pens from the off and we'll all be sat here slagging them all off again later. I'm hoping we don't play two defensive midfielders

I have to miss the second half because I’ve got a driving lesson.

Nightmare. Hope we have it wrapped up by half time, but Congo will cause problems.

Awful timing. Who plans your driving lessons, Rob Key?

Playing Mexico in the Azteca doesn't bother me, neither does playing Brazil.

We're man for man a better team than Mexico, and their home advantage may well level the playing field, but that's absolutely fine... You need to win big games to win a tournament, and if we can't do it there then we aren't winning it anyway. At least if we lose it should be quite a good spectacle and amazing atmosphere.

Brazil aren't all that, they've got a lot of very good players but I don't fear them. Only real concern I'd have is Vinny Vs whoever we play at RB. Again if you can't be a half decent Brazil you aren't good enough to win it anyway.

I'm genuinely not arsed about us going deep only to be completely outclassed by France in the final, at least if we beat Mexico, Brazil and Argentina it suggests we have half a chance at least of beating France.

I thought Mexico looked kind of soft at the end of the match.

They were defending a lead but I thought Ecuador made some decent chances despite being low on quality in attack.

Even if they blitz England early in a potential Round of 16 match, I think Mexico are susceptible to direct attacks. In a pinch, Tuchel can change things by bringing Toney on and letting the rest of the attack swarm around his knockdowns.

Yea we will beat Mexico.

Not sure we beat Brazil, but if they go into without thinking they are playing Brazil, then they may do it, if Rice stays fit and they can sort defence to control Vinny.

Big one tonight though, could easily slip up.

I think Brazil have looked quite poor too but you never know when Carlo is going to give them the “just play” halftime speech to flip that switch.

The analysis is spot on, here but it's always been like this especially attacking, if we don't have runners going beyond Kane or the Wingers getting space and taking the fullback on , then we always end up with 6/7 players facing the ball (+backs to goal).....plus speed the bloody passing up ....

To be fair when you see the group (Croatia, Ghana, Panama) you could be forgiven for thinking this would be a blank evening

Madueke, the definition of inverted winger. Completely incapable of going on his right.
