Yeah but we have Beto up top and his heading is as erratic as the rest of his game. He's as likely to completely miss the ball as he is to power one in past the keeper.

I think the fact we aren't looking for a cross merchant probably shows Moyes understands that this wouldn't be the best way to use Beto, and I think that's something to be applauded.

Make space for him and he'll score, but we can't use him as a DCL type player because he doesn't thrive on crosses at all.

Wasn't commenting on the current squad - just the hipster dismissal of a style of football this club loves

Guardian are reporting that Southampton are asking for £50m for him. As much as I was initially excited by his potential that is too much. Walk away

£50m is ridiculous. I think he is a fantastic talent but that’s all it is at the moment. I would say £30m plus add ons is max. Anything more than that and you are overpaying.

I want him here but at £50m they're having a laugh... Time to walk away.

Walk away and then get him on deadline day for 30 plus add ons.

I think I'd genuinely be angry if we spunked 50M on him.

As others have said, play the long game, he may hand in a request.

Get him for cheaper deadline day or they lose money on him next year

Top talent but there is a limit.

I'd advertise we're putting a bid in for someone else, call their bluff. Then low ball them with a dead cheap offer

No and I’m sure even Moyes knows it’s too much. Wait until deadline day to see if we can get a better price, concentrate on the other signings

So we'd need to sell him for about £68m to break even.

If we follow through with this deal then we may as well bring Moshiri back because we're being taken for absolute mugs.

25% sell on, as well as £50m? Yeah, time to leave it.
