In fact, balls out time, i predict Ndiaye and Beto in double figures, 30+ across them plus Barry
7+ from KDH
that would leave us needing 15+ across the rest of the team to get the necessary average, which is doable

I also disagree with the assertion that Garner is not a premier league level midfielder

He can obviously play at pl level but is he a starter for many prem teams? And if so, where abouts in the league would they be?
Wolves are absolutely shocking and their two CMS are levels above Garner.

I’m afraid to break it to you but Garner is a yo-yo level player. He’s a Southampton/leicester/Leeds level midfielder.

Wolves CMs are excellent.

I still think we'll get what we need in the next 2 weeks (or 5 weeks) with a few annoying, but livable compromises.
Thankfully, I was right and I'm not flapping at all anymore. I'm now at 0.
Bring on the rest of the season.

Those wolves midfielders didn’t look so good at the weekend

Both will be talked about for CL transfers before the end of the season.
Id take Andre now as our long term Gueye replacement.

He’s injured and not expected back until next year. His knee fell off

It's a nice thought Todd but -
Grealish - max prem goals in a year was 8, 5 years ago
KDH - Max prem goals 2
Dibling - 2
McNeil - hit 7 once with an xg of 3.5 (highest ever xg)
Ndiaye is our man here and I'm personally hoping he can hit 10-12, would be a huge achievement for him.
Easy to get carried away by the fact we scored 3 at the weekend but I see it as - we squeezed past an absolutely dog shit wolves side, and as soon as Gana went off we went to bits.
We are not stacked with goal threat despite the fact we looked good at the weekend.
Re: previous scoring levels - they did not previously play together in this setup and I am expecting more from them.
Re: getting carried away with wolves - nah. I see it the same.
Re: being stacked - I think we are stacked with threats. Enough that the goals will be shared around - without being particularly prolific.

Our fans are desperate for James garner to be something he isn’t, because he’s a good grafter, who’s from United and is called “Jimmy Garner”
This is his 4th season now and there’s been nothing to suggest he’s anything but an average/decent midfielder.
Comparisons to Peter Reid, “United fans are gutted he’s gone” even at the weekend people saying he was man of the match when it was obviously Grealish or KDH.
He’s out of contract in the summer and I don’t see him going to anyone better than us if he leaves. If he stays, I see his minutes being reduced.
It’s not a great sign for him that he’s seen as a player who can fill in at full back. He’s done ok there and it means he gets on the pitch, but if he was rated in his position the manager wouldn’t want him moved from there.
He’s ok, no issue with him being part of the squad but would be surprised to see him go onto another level.

Players mature at different rates, so far he's not been great for us but it's encouraging to see some more positive signs now we've got better ball players in the team.
I don't really see his versatility as a thing to knock him with, but I think he's got a lot of convincing people to do it he wants to be seen as a player who'll be involved in a team that's looking to compete higher up the table.
I definitely wouldn't write him off just yet but would say this season is make or break for him.
