Defo something in us losing Alan Kelly and Pickfords huge drop in form.

He’s done this before hasn’t he?

Doesn't he usually have a post national tourny dip in form? Must be tough going from playing with those players to are absolute dross.

Still can't really think of many goals where you thought he should have definitely saved that.

He's poor coming for crosses but that's always been a weakness and got to think at this age probably won't improve.

Is that data a bit skewed by us conceding a few long range shots so far? Again always been a bit of a weakness of his but don't think he should have definitely saved any of them?

Looked all over the place in the first half, much better in the second, when he came and collected a couple of crosses

We're 5 (now 6) games in though, a statistician would be shot if he drew conclusions on such a small data-set.

He's been great for 3 years, thats a good sample size. I'm not looking at niche stats over 5 games with any concern, I will check in at the end of the season.

Yes deffo a small sample. Did think he seemed... bolder? Coming for the ball second half. Such a relief when he can come and grab a ball out the air rather than it dropping.

However, he has had drops like this before though remember. It would not be a surprise if these numbers continued.

Yeah its a bit of worry, I hope the Goodison crowd give him space to work through it though. His last dip in form was all about trying too hard to influence play and right the previous wrong... never a great approach for a keeper. That sports psychologist did him wonders.

I guess I just dont want us to spook him over a blip in form and watch him spiral into crazy antics again. I'm sure having his best CB pairing back will serve him well though.

All the signs are there at the moment.

He makes big saves in big moments. And is a good tournament keeper. But he's overrated by our supporters. He's just not consistent enough over the course of a season. Never has been. That's why no top clubs have ever come in for him.

Think he's been very consistent over 2 seasons. He's not doing well at the moment though and had a long poor spell about 3 years ago (it might be longer)

His regular issue is he's really poor with crosses. Think that's way top sides aren't particularly interested
