From what I've read he's a bit of a chancer with nothing like the professionalism and experience we desperately need, e.g.

Fuck's sake, it took the Dodgers 15 years to recover from that idiot.

I can’t find the energy to stress about this. I was buzzing about the Roma folks because it looked like a steady hand was coming in. But since they rumbled us and found that we're a front for a gang of criminals and run a mile I can’t logically believe that a legit buyer will come in for us.

It’s gonna be someone horrible. We’re going to absolutely hate them. But we’re going to do nothing because apart from greeting the team bus during a relegation battle we’re a very passive fan base and will just accept the hand we’re dealt.

It’s an opinion, not a statement of fact.

Have to massively disagree on us being a passive fanbase.

I’d say it’s the complete opposite.

In the grand scheme of things fans are powerless but we’ve done as much as we could possibly do to put pressure on the idiots running us.

Like everything else with our club, the sale of it is just a neverending circus digging thru varying levels of "You couldn't make it up".

Private ownership of clubs is stupid.

I know fan bases are becoming increasingly global but it’s ridiculous that supporters in a particular geographic area should simply hope that the right rich person (or group of rich people) buys the thing that is so important to their community.

Oh, I agree. I was just envying the German model of club ownership.

I have the feeling that any potential owners with the knowhow to succeed can see enough from the outside to not even bother.
I'd be very surprised if our next owners are people we are happy with.
