9 figures plus Grealish, at least!

How much did they pay for flipping Anderson! That's the market, their market.

We'll spend 80 somewhat wisely, hits and misses, we've only seen glimpses of sensible spending, despite recent decent signs. Yet nothing of the quality close to Ndiaye.

Is OUR competitive advantage currently buying potential cheap, and playing, and improving, and selling on for big bucks?

It's removing the quality in our squad, shed loads more than we can replace it.

From 4x 20m signings, we'd need one to hit the heights and to sell for 100m to cover the others that don't, along with their wages and potential league change prize money. We need Europe. Yes, with perhaps a more balanced squad, but limited top quality.

Yes it's completely stacked against us, but we must turn the selling game into a game changer for us. 80m for me doesn't do that. And Rico Lewis? Jesus. And no, not him either.

Someone get Burnham on the blower to sort out the mess. We ned more than a RB, Andy. A level playing field would be nice.

Ndiaye is a stellar player, I love him, his back story, how hard he worked to get here - everything.

But he does feel like he has another level to prove and we should sell while the price is high. If we keep him another year or two and try and sell at 27/28 on higher wages and he’s still not got the end product numbers that a Man City or Arsenal are looking for…. could be hard to shift and so we end up keeping him for years on big money.

I also reckon he might fail to kick on at City. Would hate it - but he might. Output deliverables will be a lot less forgiving in their squad than ours.

Make hay while the sun shines and hope to god we reinvest wisely.

Dreamland - all this links and rumours we’ve been hearing about are actually being kept live and on the table so in the last day Ndiaye goes and we’re straight in the blower to get another few in - which is why activity has been slow so far.

Wake me up on Tuesday after the nonsense.

I’m comfortable with swapping him for Grealish and c£70m. Actually think it’s a good deal.

As long as they don’t try and shoehorn Rico Lewis in there as well and we manage to get a decent right back in from elsewhere I think it’ll be seen afterwards as decent all round.

All the arguments for and against the sale have already been said……
Simple conclusion is for me:
Forget PSR etc…..
If he goes at least £85million + grealish
If he stays great..

Ndiaye will get much more output at city

The amount of assists he would have got last season with someone other than Beto missing sitters.....

80 mill and Grealish.

Fuck Lewis, don't need him or want him.

Good test of the club's negotiators, Ndiaye going for £60m and an ageing Grealish on a 4 year contract similar to his current wage will be a shocker. That would simply eat up the £60m.

Hopefully they remember we're calling the shots.

I 100% want another one adding if he goes regardless of Grealish coming in.

Are there actually any concrete links for Ndiaye to City?

Beyond reading between the lines of Davey's pressers.. just the usual articles. Guardian have run with it.

God no. That'd be 10 figures. ;)
