Re: Dyche
Yeah burnout is definitely a risk, and we won't maintain this level all season, but it should get us to where we need to be.MmmBlueBranthwaite wrote: ↑Fri Dec 08, 2023 11:50 pm True, but is it sustainable over a whole season and beyond?
Look at Newcastles injuries, Leeds under Bielsa and Klopps reputation for exhausting players through a militant press.
We've a massively shallow squad compared to others. Were fooked if we lose many more key players.
Its difficult to argue against it as a valid tactic at the momet, especially with a -10 point premium, but potentially at what cost overall?
Re: Dyche
When you also consider the Brighton goal was extremely flukey it could have been more.
Form wise, you can't complain.
Re: Dyche
Yes, certainly had the feel of picking up a broken club and slowly but surely nursing it back to full health.
1st: Broken bones, and heart surgery. *Tick*
2nd: Then cardiao health and muscle strengthening.
3rd: Can't wait for the hair product and skin care regime.

Re: Dyche
He has that stubborn streak like Moyes but dyche is operating very well considering everything that is being thrown at him so far
Re: Dyche
Fully felt this today, we didn't play great but were hard to play against and then took our chances when they came.
Really took me back to us under him where regardless of the performance levels we were still always in the game and making it tough for the opponent.
Re: Dyche
Deserves all the credit he gets. Given that this is largely the same squad we've had for two or three seasons now give or take a couple players, it's a massive turnaround.
He's not everyone's cup of tea but I'm really glad to have him here.
