His contract's up in the summer isn't it?

Re: Maups
Can't be right surely? His contract expires in 2025 and although we have an option to extend I doubt we'd take it.Big Nevs Vaz wrote: ↑Sun Dec 29, 2024 8:59 pm Obligation to buy for 6 mill possibly raising to 10. Neal is a bit of an obligation alright.
Re: Maups
Hmm weird, seems he signed a 3 year contract in 2022 with us so I'm not sure how we'd get a fee. Happy if we do though but mainly be delighted whatever happens as long as the skid mark leaves and we never hear about him again.

Re: Maups
It might be because we have an option to extend. Anyway apologies for posting a pic of the little bundle of unpleasantness. It’s not Everton’s fault that he missed all those guilt edge chances when he did get a chance to play.

Re: Maups
He's an odd little man. We are fucking awful and we didn't want him and no one regrets letting him go. His trolling makes no sense. He's shitter than we are. Is he even getting a game in France
Re: Maups
He's just a crap player, who for part of his business signs off on "funny" social media posts written by a pr agency in order to get him better fees on his brand partnerships.
It's not authentic, it's not funny, it's not interesting. It can't rattle me, how could I be rattled by a social media intern writing a post, having it OK'd by an executive, sent on to a manager who shows it to Maupay and his agent, who agrees for it to be posted on his verified account?
It's like being rattled by like Dominos on twitter or Paddy Power or something. It's nonsense! It doesn't matter!

Re: Maups
Even if Maupay wrote it himself it's not even funny or insightful. Reminds me of someone like Liam Gallagher trying to be relevant but just coming across as a bell end.
Sorry if we ruined your career Neil, maybe if you hadn't been so shit that wouldn't have happened though eh? Don't know if you have any mirrors in your house but if so not might be time to take a good long hard look in one.

Re: Maups
It’s all quite tragic from his point of view.
He might get the odd laugh from some opposition fans but all in all it comes across as very distasteful and disrespectful. It’s not someone who you would be proud to be associated with.
After all, Everton is bigger than any fan or player or owner. It’s an institution that deserves its respect as does any club. The club was here long before Maupay was alive and will be here long after he is dead. He is just a mere blip in our history that no one will remember.
