Yup. Just can’t trust media or politicians anymore, and not because they all used to be trustworthy, but because we used to have a very important thing called ‘accountability’.

With great auditors comes great accountability (or was it accountancy?)

That would be sensible. Hackney and Armstrong swapping places.

🚨 Middlesbrough are still yet to receive an acceptable offer for star man Hayden Hackney this summer. Everton Football Club have already had two bids turned down for the Championship Player of the Season.

You know how this plays out. A confident scout tells his boss, 'pay it' and we lose out. In a WC year, players will all cost more. Whst makes N'dyie more expensive? Ability or having a good tournament

It looks like we don't have the money they want at the top end.and we need to prudent with our budget in order to fill all the positions we're short on, unless we bring in cash from sales.

I'd rather we play hard ball and look after the budget rather than hand out stupid fees.

I didn’t realise…Ipswich had a bid of 16 mil accepted last season? And now with a year left they want an extra 10 mil or so?

I assume that’s because he had a good season, but still, that’s kinda funny.

I don’t think we are in the position to overpay by the sounds of it. We can’t just add another 10 mil to each bid like Man City can when they went after Anderson.

Would kinda suggest we’re not assuming big sales like an Ndiaye at the moment either and we have to work within the budget.

If we are thinking about letting Tim go and Gana has obviously left then it's pretty imperative we get this over the line.

Don't think he replaces either of them based on how he plays.

I would assume if they both go it's Garner + New 6 + Hackney.

Alcaraz spot in the squad probably goes to Hackney.

Hackney is definitely competition for KDH not the further back roles - at least under Moyes.

He could play deeper in a side that dominates more of the ball but not under what Moyes wants from his CMs
