Did he though, he managed 33 games, 20 starts and 13 sub appearances, in that Southampton side. Averaged 56 minutes a game, in the league, 2 goals and 0 assists. He had a large purple patch and then wasn’t as effective, as you’d expect from an 18 year old.
Does that really make you want to spend £45m on him, he was never the player we needed.
