Not sure we risk him if he breaks down in a warm up.

If Seamus doesn’t play at RB on Wednesday then I really don’t see the point in having signed him as a player.

U21 game time for Aznou

Captain Coleman for first 45 minutes against Mansfield...
...that's why we signed him - to experience HD

Feels like poor recruitment to me, I'm all for signing someone we can develop and if needed loan out, but not at the expense of signing a dynamic full back that can do what's required for the team

To be fair, I think the thinking was that the spot was Mykos and Aznou would be the understudy.
Turns out neither are good enough for those roles as things stand

Surely this lad will be out on loan 1st January? Couldn't even get a game in the cup match against Wolves. Seems like we've wasted half a season with him here.

Kind of frustrating that he doesn’t even get a look for 10-20 minutes when we just need to get the ball in the box.

Myko’s the starting choice because you know he’ll do a job defensively but there’s a turning point where steady defense earns us nothing and having someone who’s going to make runs for Grealish is magnitudes more valuable.

I wanted to throw something at the TV when Myko broke off his run at the exact moment Grealish played him in. Even if you’ve read the situation and decided you’re not getting the ball, make the run and try to pull a defender away from Grealish.

We were crying out for another left footed player to put some pressure on Myko, offer something going forward and also to slot in as first choice if he decides to leave end of the season and we can't agree a deal.

We decided to buy one who isn't ready for the first team. Meaning we need another left back. You couldn't make it up.

He needs to play somewhere clearly if he's not ready for the PL, and he's not going to get ready being on the bench all the time.

I would've liked to see a cameo though as it's not like we couldn't have given him a run out in some games, even like the 4-1 Newcastle game where we were out of it.

Time to bump the thread.

Nice cameo for him, appreciate it’s easier to come on against tired legs when there is almost nothing to lose but he showed up a few of the other fringe players just in terms of his willingness to get involved and try and make something happen. That is the sort of thing you want to see from these younger players.

I know he wasn’t playing LB, so defensively who knows, but does make you wonder a bit if we could’ve seen him earlier.

Would like to hear more about his performance as couldn't watch it. Did he play left wing?
