Couldn’t believe what I was hearing from Steve Rotherham before.

Throwing everyone else under the bus from the staff, the rail unions, the club, rail staff.

Pretty much admitted the infrastructure isn’t there to improve Sandhills.

It’s fair enough telling people there are alternative routes but as that’s the nearest train station to the ground it’s always going to be rammed at match day and much more needs to be done.

The money has been there, they’ve just used it on a vanity project for the new Baltic market station and building a station in headbolt lane that isn’t fit for purpose.

Seems to me like he’s getting his excuses in early because he knows it’s a mess.

I’d be interested to know what percentage of senior councillors are kopites?

The government would help out if it benefited an area greatly.

Hes just a tit who does the bare minimum.

The initial reaction from RL fans (advance tickets for England fans with previous ticket history went on sale for the Ashes tests today) has been positive and excited.

England RL has no permanent home. It would be great for this to be successful and for England to stage more here. The Kiwis are due over after the next world cup too. It would be great if we could get BMD regularly on the rota.

Wouldn't mind the odd Europa conference/league final either to be honest.

(Obviously I'd like European matches there in months other than May as well  )

Was it just me or did anyone else think the toilets weren't big enough?

There might be more of them to go to, but the blocks themselves were tiny.

Had exactly the same thought, initialy I thought this must be just a one off, then I went to another one and it was same size,
